Antique French SFBJ 301 bisque doll. Measures approximately 22 inches tall. Beautiful blue glass set eyes with "real" upper lashes. Painted eyebrows. Open mouth with top row of teeth. Head is incised with:21 SFBJ 301 Paris 9. She has a composition and wood ball jointed body that is incised with a 9 on the side torso. She is wearing a vintage pink knitted sweater, vintage cotton dress, vintage pink slip (spot stain), vintage cotton knit socks, very worn antique shoes, gorgeous replica mohair wig, cardboard pate and a vintage hair ribbon. The doll is circa 1910/20's. This doll was recently acquired from a long time doll collector who needs to downsize a bit. She has been well loved and cared for over time. Beautiful doll with a few small issues but she displays nicely.Condition: No hairlines, flakes on pierced earring holes, neck socket chips, one tiny eye flake on the upper left eye, reset eyes, repainted hands, body paint wear and chipping, reglued knee ball joint, some wear and tear to the clothing and worn shoes. She has some issues but she displays beautifully.
