Gakusen Toshi Asterisk' Main Cast Announced

The official website for Gakusen Toshi Asterisk (The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water) has announced the main cast, along with their character designs. The website has also announced that Shiena Nishizawa (Kantai Collection: KanColle) and Maaya Sakamoto (Tamayura) will perform the opening and ending themes, respectively. The series was first published in September 2012, and its eighth volume was released on May 25 and sold 7,457 copies in its first week on Oricon's sales rankings for May 25–31. A TV adaptation will air in October directed by Manabu Ono (Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) and Kenji Setou (Saki). Tetsuya Kawakami (Sword Art Online) will be directing the animation as well as designing the characters, which will take place at A-1 Pictures.
