Karura Hiōgi (緋扇 かるら Hiōgi Karura) was originally introduced as an antagonist, but she is now a recurring character. She is a tengu who controls the yokai in Kyoto under the Western Forces that serve the Yoinozaka Family. In her human form, Hiougi is a young girl with thigh-length red hair that is tied in on the left side, sharp yellow eyes and she wears a female highschool uniform.
