Apr 28, 2015 - 'Zulu Fighting Sticks' of South Africa, known as 'Izinduku'. Zulu fighting can be traced back to 1670, though it is also linked to Shaka Zulu (1787 -1828) Southern Africa's legendary warrior-king who was a highly proficient stick fighter by the age of 11. During Shaka’s reign as king, Zulu stick fighting was used to train for self-defence and war, building courage and skill. #UWM #Zulu #fighting #weapons
