Citra freezes whenever I press start or select - Citra Support

Issue: Just like the title says, the audio turns off and the gameplay freezes whenever I press start or select. I bound start and select to my controller and to my keyboard in different instances and they both cause the freeze. No crash report or failure message the game just seems to freeze. Note: I am playing pokemon sun and I haven’t tried any other game so far, but pressing either start or select causes a complete freeze at any point in the game. I haven’t had a chance to save but pressing
